Easy Oatmeal

Mmmm..oatmeal. Why am I posting oatmeal as my first recipe? Well, for starters, breakfast is an important meal of the day and it’s easy. I love easy! So, let’s get started, shall we?

Serves 1


1/2 cup uncooked rolled oats

1/2 cup water (you can add a bit more if you like thinner oatmeal)

1/4 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice, I prefer almond!)

1 tbsp hemp seeds

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 Tbsp flaxseed

1 handful of walnuts (or nut of your choice!)

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp maple syrup

1/4 cup chopped strawberries (or blueberries…really any berry)

How to prepare: 

Microwave oats for about 2 minutes or heat on medium via stove top until thickens

Let the oats cool down for a minute

Mix everything and enjoy!
